![]() Type in the following command: cmd /c echo.clip. The image is in my clipboard as I am able to paste into a Word document. There was a pop-up the first time I tried, but I (impatiently) selected 'Do not show this dialog again' and pressed OK. Suddenly, I am unable to paste screenshots into my Outlook 2016 message. I'm not going to ask for a refund, as the feature is no longer advertised on the website, however I did used to use Synergy many many years ago and made the assumption that the feature still existed when purchasing it. Right click Start button to open Task Manager, show More Details, then choose Processes tab, scroll down to Windows Processes, then further down to Windows Explorer. I use the Snipping Tool to capture screenshots. I am able to seamlessly copy and paste files via clipboard using apps like TeamViewer, so the capability does exist in other products (not to say that TeamViewer and Synergy are in the same category of software - just that other devs have figured out a way to initiate a transfer without the user needing to do anything other than copy and paste). The entire image is copied to the clipboard, unless you mark a region with the Select area tool, which specifies that only that region will be copied. There was a post from their CEO back in 2017 advising they would be rewriting the feature for version 2.1 due "early next year" (mentioned in 2017), but that has not come to fruition. I have tried the following fix but it does not solve the problem: Open command prompt and type in windir\system32\cmd. Copy Copies the selected region of the current image into the clipboard, leaving it as is in the HyperSnap window. Keyboard shortcut: Hold down Ctrl and press V to paste. ![]() You can right-click inside a document, folder, or nearly any other place. Right-click the items destination and choose Paste. Keyboard shortcut: Hold down Ctrl and press X to cut or C to copy. I note that Symless are now no longer advertising the feature (drag and drop / copy paste files) on their main website. Use Copy when you want to duplicate something, leaving the original intact.
